Yoga for Pregnancy

Yoga breathing creates an atmosphere of calmness, steadiness and stability in the mind and a firm emotional balance and these simple practices are invaluable skills to have knowledge of not only during your pregnancy and birth, but for the rest of your life as well.

Meditation

Contemplation, inner reflection, mindfulness. Meditation, deep relaxation & visualisation for pregnancy.

Meditation is where the mind is drawn back unto itself to rest in a quieter more gentle place there within you - to simply observe and witness your self in the present moment. In essence meditation is contemplation, inner reflection and mindfulness and the ability to practice concentration and hold your attention on less, rather than more. During meditation you more clearly notice the body and how it feels and the flow of the natural breath. It also gives you the opportunity to witness the atmosphere of the mind and the nature of your thoughts - and ultimately how they influence every aspect of your being.
Through meditation you become more aware of your surroundings and your world, not only during formal practice but throughout your daily life too, where you realise a more clear and precise awareness which encourages you to be alone and at peace with yourself.
