Aromatherapy Massage For Pregnancy
Treating yourself to a relaxing aromatherapy massage during pregnancy is a wonderful way to nourish yourself before the birth of your baby,either for the purpose of deep relaxation or to ease tension and tightness in the physical body. The essential oils recommended for pregnancy are relaxing in nature and create calmer states of mind and are therefore helpful in reducing the effects of emotional stress. Where physical tension and tightness are causing discomfort massage will gently and effectively assist freedom of movement and increase softness in the body.

Massage will also help relieve minor back problems, especially when used in conjunction with the relevant yoga exercises and other treatment protocols to facilitate faster and more lasting healing. Theresa has been working with pregnant women since 1984 and uses the essential oils that are the most relevant during pregnancy, and importantly those that are safe to use at this time. During The Birth Preparation Workshop for Couples and Birth Support she teaches basic massage skills to use during the birth.
