The workshops will conclude with an in depth discussion on life after birth, when the new mother is at home with her baby and is often faced with so many unexpected and challenging situations to cope with. For many women this can prove to be a time that is
even more demanding than the pregnancy or giving birth - and it is now that the value of some of the more specific yoga practices become so important as a way to help the woman stay calm and therefore better able to cope. The use of natural remedies in relation to some of the more common problems that can occur for both mother and baby during the first months of the child's life, will also be discussed at length.

This workshop is an ideal way for pregnant women to review skills for birth as well as providing the opportunity for their birth support to gain knowledge of them and be more effectively involved in the birthing process.
